There’s incentive to play battles, as winning earns you XP, which helps you level up, which helps you open more booster packs, which helps you build better decks to win more battles. Despite all the massive improvements in Monster Hunter Wilds , Capcom will still charge you money to edit your character or Palico more than once. Once you create your character during the intro sequence, you’ll only have one opportunity to fully change them using a free character edit voucher. After that, it’ll cost you at least $6.99 to even enter the customization menu again — although that’ll net you three vouchers. Palico edit vouchers are the same deal, but you can also buy a three-pack of both for $9.99 . There’s currently no way to earn character or Palico edit vouchers by simply playing the game, just as it is in Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter World. In your tent, you can edit minor aspects of your character without a voucher, like their makeup, facial hair, and clothing, but everything else is locked behind the full customization menu. More new cards are coming to Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket , The Pokémon Company announced Thursday during its Pokémon Day broadcast. As is customary for big events, however, the news leaked a bit early — reportedly after an ad for the game showing the new content was pushed live ahead of the announcement . The Triumphant Light pack has a scope similar to the Mythical Island pack that was added in December; a single pack with a bunch of new cards, instead of multiples like with the Space-Time Smackdown expansion . Arceus is at the center of the Triumphant Light — and on the cover of the pack. The Arceus ex and Garchomp ex cards seemingly headline the pack, surrounded by the likes of Magnemite, Golbat, and another Eevee. For large swaths of its playtime, Citizen Sleeper 2 is more or less a book. Dice rolls or no, you spend the bulk of your time in-game reading. For me, that rules, especially because developer Gareth Damian Martin is, for my money, one of the best writers in games right now. I love their evocative exposition, describing not just the physicality of a fully imagined cityspace, but the ways in which it plays on the minds of those who inhabit it. The story explores questions of migrancy, liminality, and scarcity with finesse. The writing is so strong, in fact, that a question occurred to me: Why isn’t this a novel instead of a game? A version of that question has been asked in less charitable terms, I’m sure. A new Pokémon Presents showcase is coming on Feb. 27, The Pokémon Company announced Thursday. The new Presents livestream falls on Pokémon Day 2025, the annual celebration of the monster-catching franchise. What time is Pokémon Presents 2025? The showcase will stream on the official Pokémon YouTube  and  Twitch channels at 9 a.m. EST/6 a.m. PST/2 p.m. GMT/11 p.m. JST. The Doctor is (back) in, almost. Doctor Who will be returning for season 2 (aka the second season of Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor ) on April 12. Like the past Gatwa seasons and specials, the show will premiere around the world at the same time, streaming on Disney Plus in the U.S. at the same time it drops in the U.K. on BBC. Pokémon Go ’s “ Road to Unova ” event is a lead-in to the upcoming Go Tour: Unova event, and it’s a big one. The event runs from Feb. 24 until March 1 (until Go Tour: Unova starts at 10 a.m. in your local time) and features a whole ton of Legendary Pokémon, Timed Research, and other perks to help hype up the weekend. The Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex set is an astounding 3,145-piece recreation of one of prehistory’s most terrible thunder lizards, and measures over three feet in length.
