When Love Me directors Sam and Andrew Zuchero set out to make their first film, they set the difficulty level at god-tier: They didn’t just want to make a movie about post-apocalyptic robots in love (played by Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun), they wanted to use extensive stop-motion. And full motion-capture character animation. And live-action sequences. You can time travel in Hello Kitty Island Adventure , and while it’s one way to supercharge your playthrough, doing so comes with risks — to the degree you might not want to avoid time traveling altogether. Much of the game progression in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is tied to the Frienship Level you reach with characters. The better friends you become with all the Sanrio cuties, the more quests and items you can unlock. You can level up your friendship with characters by giving them gifts, but the game limits the number of items you can give away every 24 hours in real time. Time traveling is a way to circumvent this limitation, but the developers of Hello Kitty Island Adventure highly discourage time traveling, warning that it could restrict certain features of the game. Compared to the original Disney musical Moana , which largely just follows wayfarer Moana (Auli‘i Cravalho) and cocky demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) for most of the movie, Moana 2 boasts a pretty expansive ensemble cast. The Moana sequel, now available for digital rental or purchase , introduces a wave of new characters, originally designed for a TV-series version of the story . Among them are Moni (Hualālai Chung), a Maui fanboy who loves to draw self-insert fan art of him with his favorite hero; Loto (Rose Matafeo), a cheery inventor who confidently proclaims that the only two certainties in life are failure and death; Keke (David Fane), a grumpy farmer who somehow ended up on a boat-based quest despite not knowing how to swim; and Moana’s adorable little sister Simea (Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda). When Polygon had a chance to sit down with most of the cast of Star Trek: Section 31 last week, we asked all of them whether their appreciation for Star Trek had changed since they became part of the storied sci-fi franchise — whether they’d been fans for ages or were less familiar with the setting.  Sven Ruygrok, who plays the rather unusual Vulcan character Fuzz, was in that latter category. “I’m a baby Trekkie, so I didn’t know much about the world,” he said. “The world that I grew up in was Xena and Power Rangers , Biker Mice from Mars ,” not Trek. On Feb. 6 at 4 p.m. PST, The Expanse is reportedly scheduled to leave Prime Video — not all of it, mind you. Just the first three seasons; those are the ones that aired on Syfy, before the show was rescued from cancellation by Prime. So while seasons 4-6 will stay on Prime Video, the beginning of the show will be gone.  This isn’t a sure thing . No Man’s Sky has become famous for its long list of free updates, many of them changing major facets of the space exploration game. In July 2024, developer Hello Games released Worlds Part 1 , which overhauled things like wind patterns, flora and fauna spawns, and clouds. This update transformed familiar worlds, turning my placid and boring home world into a planet covered by gorgeous glowing grasses. On Wednesday, Hello Games revealed the follow-up, Worlds Part 2, which is available now. The new update expands the existing gallery; in a news release, managing director Sean Murray said that there are “billions of new solar systems and trillions of new planets” that contain new biomes, new terrain, gas giants, and much more variety. GOG, a digital storefront for classic and DRM-free PC games, is debuting a new tool for users to vouch and vote on what they’d like to see released next. It’s called GOG Dreamlist and it’s essentially an evolution of the community voting its done in the past but organized into a full-on tool for recommending and sharing stories about your favorite games. In the FAQ, GOG says it’ll use data from the highest voted games to help negotiate with IP owners about bringing them to the service. It won’t be able to give updates on the status of each game, but it’s working on a feature to let you track which ones you’ve voted for that become available. Each game will have its own page where you can vote for it and submit a story about your experience with it. If I had to pick a throughline for the 2024 Dungeons & Dragons rules refresh (aka One D&D, D&D 2024, 5.5 edition, or whatever they’re calling or not calling it this week ), it would be customization . Yungoos, the loitering Pokémon from Alola, can be found in the wild in Pokémon Go . Yes, Yungoos can be shiny in Pokémon Go ! Yungoos and its evolution, Gumshoos, are mostly just ‘dex-filler Pokémon. As the respective early-game “pest” or rodent of their region, they’re not going to see much action in raids or anything like that. At least they have a cute pink shiny form! What is the shiny rate for Yungoos in Pokémon Go? As per old research by the now-defunct website The Silph Road (via  Wayback Machine ), the shiny rate for Pokémon on a regular day is approximately one in 500. Space-Time Smackdown is an upcoming expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket . This update will add new cards, alongside seemingly new types of cards, and finally introduces the long-awaited trading feature.
