Logan Paul’s Pikachu Illustrator Pokémon card just sold for $16.49 million

Logan Paul’s one-of-one PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator card — widely considered the “Holy Grail” of Pokémon collecting — has officially sold fora total of$16,492,000 at Goldin Auctions. The auction closed early Monday morning after 41 days of bidding, with the vast majority of bids coming in during an extended bidding period that took place after the auction ended. The final hammer price came to $13.3 million plus a 24% buyer's premium, making the final price more than triple what Paul paid for it.

Knowing the Max Battle schedule is useful if you’re looking to expand your inventory of Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon Go . It does appear that Niantic will start rotating Pokémon in and out of Max Battles on a month-by-month basis, with some event Pokémon littered in. There are also Max Mondays, a weekly event similar to raid hour, where one Pokémon will show up more frequently in power spots from 6-7 p.m. That said, you’ll want a healthy amount of Dynamax Pokémon in your team if you choose to divulge in the feature, as only Dynamax Pokémon can participate in Max Raids. (So you’re pretty much catching Pokémon to help you catch more Pokémon.)
