Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 review: two masterpieces for the price of two

But what games! I reviewed both on release — Galaxy in Edge magazine, and Galaxy 2 at Eurogamer — and gave them both 10/10. I regret nothing. Taking Mario into space, they are perhaps the most inventive and spectacular platforming games ever made, bending, stretching, and twisting the genre into stunning new forms with almost every level. If nothing else, it’s important that these new editions keep them playable on modern hardware. Galaxy 2 hasn’t been made available since a no-frills Wii U download a decade ago; Galaxy was republished on Switch, but only in the limited-edition (artificially so, since it was available digitally) and the rather half-baked Super Mario 3D All-Stars compilation in 2020.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 writer Jennifer Svedberg-Yen would be the first to tell you: writing a video game is work . At least writing a novel is a one-person operation for most of the time. Pokémon Go Max Monday and Max Battle schedule for June 2025

Knowing the Max Battle schedule is useful if you’re looking to expand your inventory of Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon Go . It does appear that Niantic will start rotating Pokémon in and out of Max Battles on a month-by-month basis, with some event Pokémon littered in. There are also Max Mondays, a weekly event similar to raid hour, where one Pokémon will show up more frequently in power spots from 6-7 p.m. That said, you’ll want a healthy amount of Dynamax Pokémon in your team if you choose to divulge in the feature, as only Dynamax Pokémon can participate in Max Raids. (So you’re pretty much catching Pokémon to help you catch more Pokémon.)
