25 years later, Digimon: The Movie still doesn't get the credit it deserves

Released on Oct. 6, 2000, Digimon: The Movie weaves together three arcs from the Digimon Adventure series, charting the DigiDestined’s journey from their first encounter with Digimon to a high-stakes digital battle and a new generation’s adventure. It begins with siblings Tai and Kari witnessing a Greymon vs. Parrotmon showdown in Tokyo. The action then shifts to Tai and fellow DigiDestined Izzy, along with their partners, as they fight the internet-born Diaboromon before a nuclear strike. Finally, it concludes with Willis and the next generation of heroes confronting a corrupted Kokomon in the U.S. to save their friend. The film blends action, humor, and emotion, serving as both a nostalgic capstone for the original cast and a bridge to the next chapter.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 writer Jennifer Svedberg-Yen would be the first to tell you: writing a video game is work . At least writing a novel is a one-person operation for most of the time. Pokémon Go Max Monday and Max Battle schedule for June 2025

Knowing the Max Battle schedule is useful if you’re looking to expand your inventory of Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon Go . It does appear that Niantic will start rotating Pokémon in and out of Max Battles on a month-by-month basis, with some event Pokémon littered in. There are also Max Mondays, a weekly event similar to raid hour, where one Pokémon will show up more frequently in power spots from 6-7 p.m. That said, you’ll want a healthy amount of Dynamax Pokémon in your team if you choose to divulge in the feature, as only Dynamax Pokémon can participate in Max Raids. (So you’re pretty much catching Pokémon to help you catch more Pokémon.)
