Elden Ring Switch 2 preview shows a port that's actually pretty good

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition was supposed to be the Nintendo Switch 2’s killer app. Announced last year alongside the console’s full reveal, it looked like FromSoftware’s open-world action RPG was poised to be the game that showed us how powerful the new console was. That didn’t quite pan out. After a shaky demo at Gamescom in 2025, FromSoftware delayed the port, then went close to radio silent on both it and its Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods. The six months of unsettling quiet left fans plenty of open space to plant red flags.

Knowing the Max Battle schedule is useful if you’re looking to expand your inventory of Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon Go . It does appear that Niantic will start rotating Pokémon in and out of Max Battles on a month-by-month basis, with some event Pokémon littered in. There are also Max Mondays, a weekly event similar to raid hour, where one Pokémon will show up more frequently in power spots from 6-7 p.m. That said, you’ll want a healthy amount of Dynamax Pokémon in your team if you choose to divulge in the feature, as only Dynamax Pokémon can participate in Max Raids. (So you’re pretty much catching Pokémon to help you catch more Pokémon.)
